A fair amount of ideas never do come to fruition or even see any further action beyond thoughts on a pad of paper. We, Jacob Ruff and Matt Spencer, however decided to pursue and create Ruff Bike Co for the following reasons. We felt that we not only owed it to ourselves, friends, and the community, but also had an accountability of providing a contribution to the further development of fixed gear as whole. Granted, we may not be providing all new and novel products or materials, but we are committed to supporting and building upon the foundation that has been established by many individuals and companies before us. We are riders and have frankly sought to develop components based on our own needs and interests.
The current available products have been ridden, abused, and tweaked based on the input of Matt Spencer, Elliott Milner, Jackson Bradshaw, and Jacob Ruff.
